Unique Gifts For The Whole Family At One Site

by Carolyn 24 Comments

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of NYFifth.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

Don’t you love when you can get most of the presents done in one shopping trip? Here is the best idea I have seen for this year’s Christmas gifts for the whole family. Personalized fleece pullovers from NYFifth Apparel !

Awesome gift idea for the whole family. I love when I can get everyone the same thing and knock out a bunch of gifts at one time. These personalized fleeces are perfect.

You can have each person’s initials embroidered onto them but I think it would be even more exciting and fun to come up with a family logo or crest. Everyone could have the same fun logo. You can design it on your computer and just send them the file. My husband has come up with this as an idea for us.

I am always needing a fleece for running around town and to the soccer fields. I live in my fleece and jeans during these soccer days.  It is a great price point for a personalized gift for everyone. They have a hooded option too for my boys since they must have a “cool” hoodie.

My husband would want the Nike Golf version. NYFifth has Nike Golf and Adidas too for those who like a certain brand and want to spend a little more money.

Awesome gift idea for the whole family. I love when I can get everyone the same thing and knock out a bunch of gifts at one time. These personalized fleeces are perfect.

You can purchase the blank apparel at wholesale prices and then add the customization (silk screening or embroidery) for a low competitive price.

There are so many ways to use these for more than Christmas gifts. They can be great for small businesses and sports teams to have as uniforms. My boy’s soccer team also does an indoor season during the winter and we have to come up with our own shirts. Having a cool emblem that we design will be awesome.

Like it. Pin it!

Awesome gift idea for the whole family. I love when I can get everyone the same thing and knock out a bunch of gifts at one time. These personalized fleeces are perfect.

Get everyone away from their separate iPads and TVs with these 5 fun family thanksgiving traditions. Make the day even more fun and memorable. I really love the first one for the kids. [Read more…]

Easiest Way to Get Rid of Cradle Cap. My Favorite Cradle Cap Comb and Brush

by Carolyn 17 Comments

My kids had the worst cradle cap as babies. With my first babies (twin boys), I had no idea why my kid’s hair was matted down until my Mom came to visit. She told me that I needed to work on their cradle cap. I was too afraid to scrub their heads very hard so it was building into a very bad case. Their heads would even bleed if I scrubbed it to hard.

My kids had terrible cradle cap. This cradle cap brush works awesome. I wasn't scared to use it on my baby because it has soft rounded rubber bristles. I used it every day for years. [Read more…]

1 Step Super Easy Way to Keep the Laundry Detergent Cup Clean

by Carolyn 28 Comments

I love seeing how other people actually live in their homes. If you stay with them you can see how they really organize their kitchens, if they use different spices while cooking or even how they handle laundry. Recently we stayed at my sister’s house and when I walked into her laundry room I saw her messy laundry detergent cups on the counter. Hi Jenny! I bet you love me sharing this on the internet. 🙂 I actually was just shown in the past year by another friend how to keep the laundry detergent cup clean so I was happy to share it with her. We are both shocked we hadn’t figured this out years ago.

A way too easy laundry tip. How to keep the detergent cup clean. No mess, no fuss, one step fix to keep the laundry cup clean. Why in the world did I not know this! [Read more…]

Walking into a newly built home always brings house envy to me. The fresh smell and new fixtures makes me realize that our house needs some updating. It is the little things in a house that makes it feel new or out of date. The few things I always feel makes a home feel new are door hardware, lighting and fresh carpet.

Our Experience With Pyloric Stenosis

by Carolyn 28 Comments

I am not a doctor this is just our experience. If you suspect a problem please see your doctor.

“You must head immediately to the MUSC Children’s Emergency Room.”

There is nothing like that statement to completely flip your emotions out of control. It feels like you have been sucked down a tunnel and you can see the doctor speaking but you feel like hear what is her or she is saying because you are down in a black tunnel and are getting scared.

Our experience with projectile vomiting and Pyloric Stenosis. The symptoms and diagnosis and surgery experience with pyloric stenosis from a the parents angle. I hope this helps anyone who is experiencing a possible diagnosis. [Read more…]

What Men Really Mean When They Say They Want Your Respect. (Hint…It is not to obey.)

by Carolyn 15 Comments

Don’t we hear it over and over in the media? Men just want respect while women want to feel loved. I get it and was sorta listening but when it really came down to it I felt that they were just replacing the word love with respect and isn’t it the same thing? And I love my husband so I obviously was respecting him, right?

My other thought was that respect meant that men think people should obey what they say. Is that what they mean by respect?

It isn’t.

What men really mean when they say they want your respect. It is not to obey. I asked my husband one night what it meant to respect your husband and to give me examples and this is what he told me. It was different than what I had always thought. [Read more…]
